Hi,

I have been searching for an answer for this but it just doesn't exist on the internet.

I want to add 2 signature fields at the end of a report template, for a company representative and also for a customer to sign. I don't want the "Fill and sign" or "Digital signature" option, but an option that is gonna make it possible to click on the field and then open a window where I can sign it with either a stylus or a finger. Unfortunately, I have been searching for a while but whatever I google, it just gives me the "how to add your own signature to the PDF", which explains how to scan a signature and the paste it wherever on the document.

Hi,

The Fill & Sign tool allows to type a signature, insert image as a signature or employ wet signature (using finger on a touch screen device).

But in this particular workflow you must employ Adobe Sign, which will allow you to insert the signature field for each recipient based off of their email addresses.

Only the intended recipient will be able to sign in their designated digital signature field(s).

NOTE:

Adobe Sign Individual Plan is already shipped with the full desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (paid-subscription).

Tablets and mobile devices use the Acrobat Mobile app, wich which is a limited PDF reader/viewer and it is not feature reach in order  to prepare and format PDFs for a particular use or distribution.

Actually I was wrong.

Please disregard all my unnecessary verbage in my initial reply (although some of it is partially true, depending on the context of this discussion).

It seems like this feature was added in recent updates.

I haven't used Acrobat Sign in my mobile device for a while and I totally missed backing up my reply with factual findings.

The feature, however, is somewhat  hidden and it is easy to miss from all of the available menus that the Acrobat Mobile app has to offer.

To enable it, first you must add at least one email recipient in order to be able to activate the Add Form fields menu.

I am using Android, but the steps should be similar for iOS devices.

See slides:

First step is to open a PDF document.

Then from the menu options (shown in the screenshot below) select "Request e-signatures":

In the next screen, TAP ON "ADD ME".

You must type in or copy /paste an email address.

This will activate the "Add fields" menu option (shown in the next screenshot below):

SELECT WHAT TYPE OF FIELDS OBJECT TO ADD TO THE PDF FORM.

To the right of the "Field type" item, tap on the context menu which will open up a list with the options that you are looking for.

HERE IT IS !!
