Adding a tiled background image

New Here ,
May 10, 2016 May 10, 2016

I have created a PDF and want to add a background that is tiled, i.e. a small image of a pattern that can be repeated to the whole background. When I go into the background options I can select a image but there is not tiling feature to repeat this image across the background of the PDF page.

Is this another option I missed? Or is Adobe Acrobat limited? Will there be an update to include this feature?

There is no such option.

So does Adobe have a wishlist? Or a proper support contact to improve or report bugs?

PDF editing should be thought of as a desperate last resort and will always be limited. This should be done in the app which creates the PDF. (Of course do try a feature request)

Thanks, but that's not possible because the Acrobat Convert webpage to PDF option does not save backgrounds of websites. So trying to fudge it another way. Acrobat is not looking like the best package at the moment to perform these trivial tasks for it price tag.
