Adobe Acrobat 2015 crashes immediately after opening

I am a basic user so the more basic instructions you are able to give, the better!

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat a number of times - was having issues getting it to work after I purchased it from Staples.  I finally got it to work however the "Organize pages" was not working and so I uninstalled & reinstalled.  This worked until I closed the application & then every time since then that I have tried to open it (through the application itself or through a file) it opens and then immediately crashes.  I wouldn't even say that it opens - the icon appears at the bottom of my screen then disappears after about 1-2 seconds.

I tried updating my OS (OS X El Captain Update 10.11.2) & restarting but no luck!  I've gone through the forums online but most apply to Microsoft users.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Hi alexk4709543,

Can you please share some logs.

Firstly restart your computer then try to launch your acrobat. After it quits itself please take the following logs.

~/Library/Logs/amt3.log

~/Library/Logs/PDApp.log

~/Library/Logs/oobelib.log

To share the logs here, follow the steps as mentioned here - How to share a document

Also if i am getting it right you are not getting any crash logs of any sort when acrobat quits, right?

Thanks,

LATEST

I had to go on Adobe support & started a chat as they do not offer phone support.  They took over my screen and about half an hour later it was resolved.  I suggest others in this predicament do the same.
