When I attempt to reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional on my new laptop and I receive the message "Serial Number Invalid." I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T440P running Windows 7 64-bit.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
-Deactivated the product on my old laptop
-Fully uninstalled the product on my old laptop
-Copy and pasted the serial number, manually typed the serial number, tried with and without the dashes
-Tried multiple installers including the executable on Adobe's website: Download Adobe Acrobat products | 9, 8‌
-Checked the Adobe Licensing Website (licensing.adobe.com) and confirmed that the serial number is listed under my account
-Chatted with support who confirmed the serial number is valid. They directed me to the forum for further support.
-Called support who instructed me to chat with Adobe support online
Can someone please help me with this issue? I am using a free trial in the meantime but it is going to expire soon. Thank you very much!!

the most common problem is using the wrong installation file. eg, if you acrobat is part of a suite, you must use the suite installation files.

Did you find a solution to this issue? I've run into this same problem on three different workstations trying to install three different versions with three different serial numbers.
