Hi,
I have deactivated an Acrobat 9 STD license from one computer. When I try to apply the license to the new computer, I receive an error indicating it is an invalid serial number.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nikii

you have to use the matching installation file. eg, if your acrobat std 9 is part of a suite you usually have to use the suite's serial number (unless you got a separate serial number for acrobat).

Hi kglad,
I appreciate your response time. Unfortunately, I am receiving a different error. I have inserted a screenshot as a reference. I do not recall purchasing the suite. My guess is that the license was not completely removed from the old computer. The problem is, I uninstalled the software already. Is there a way to find out of the serial is still attached to a computer?
Thanks,
Nikii

you should be using a 24digit number consisting of 6 groups of 4 digits, Find your Adobe product serial number quickly
if your acrobat is still installed on a computer, you may be able to recover it using:
windows: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
mac: https://mac-product-key-finder.com/
if you purchased from or registered with adobe, you can check the account used at the time of purchase/registration, Adobe ID

Hi Nikiih81050925,
If you're still experiencing issues reinstalling Acrobat 9 Standard, the solutions in this document may help: Invalid serial number error‌. Otherwise, I'm moving this discussion to the Installing, Updating, & Subscribing to Acrobat forum for further troubleshooting.
Best,
Del
