Adobe Acrobat DC stuck on printing landscape

Explorer ,
Feb 13, 2016 Feb 13, 2016

No matter what I do, Adobe Acrobat DC insists on printing landscape. I've made sure the paper size is 8.5"x11". I've set it to print portrait in the Printer Properties, as well in Acrobat's dialog box. It still prints landscape. I can close Acrobat DC and open the file in Acrobat Reader, and it prints portrait with no problems. After doing so, if I reopen Acrobat DC, it displays the document portrait, it shows the appropriate paper size, and in its print dialog box it shows that it will print portrait. Then, when I send it to print, it prints landscape. It's rather tedious to create the document in Acrobat DC and have to close it in order to print it in Acrobat Reader. (Did I mention that I hate "DC"? Worst version ever.)

Anybody got any ideas on how to correct this wayward child?

Ultimately, the only thing that worked was an uninstall and re-install of Acrobat.

Hi LarryTX,

Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates "

Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat Software: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848

If you are on Windows OS, open Acrobat, navigate to Help menu & repair the installation.

If it doesn't work please try this link :- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html

If issue still persist please check with the different user account with Admin Rights .

Regards,

Sorry, None of that worked. It took completely uninstalling Acrobat and re-installing it.
