Adobe Acrobat Download Safari Error Message

Community Beginner ,

Hello

I can not download the trial for Adobe Acrobat. I get an error message saying to close Safari. I am not using Safari, I only use Chrome. I have even completed from previous posts all the steps to take to force quit everything "Safari" out of the Activity Monitor, and rebooted. It still stops at 29% and says to quit Safari. Please help!!!

I figured it out. In case anyone has this same issue, Removing the adobe plug in from Safari helped. I rebooted again after that and it works! Here is a link I followed. How to Disable the Acrobat Safari Plug-in - TekRevue
