About two weeks ago I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Windows Student & Teacher Edition 1 User from Dell Partner Software Digital Fulfillment Team. I have yet to download the software because I have questions and they are unable (or unwilling) to answer them.
In my initial email to the Dell Partner Software Digital Fulfillment Team. I asked them two questions and gave them some background information.
My background information: I have two computers running. My old laptop uses Microsoft Vista while my new HP desktop runs Windows 10. Here are the details: From the FAQs link in the Dell Download center the following question appears under the Common Questions heading: "Can I use the Dell Download Manager to create a backup CD/DVD?" The published answer to this question is: "If you are using the Vista operating system, the answer is yes". My question is: Can I download and install "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Windows Student & Teacher Edition 1 User" using my old laptop Vista computer, make the CD/DVD backup and turnaround and use that CD/DVD backup to install the program on my new HP desktop running Windows 10?
Question: Does the above situation work in reverse? That is, can I download and install "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Windows Student & Teacher Edition 1 User" using my new HP desktop computer running Windows 10 and make a CD/DVD backup and turnaround and use that CD/DVD backup to install the program on my old laptop which uses Windows Vista?
Your help is definitely appreciated.
Hi robert444z
Please be informed Acrobat DC is compatible on Windows 7 and above (System requirements for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Acrobat Standard DC ).
So, you won't be able to install it on Windows Vista.
