I upgraded my desktop and two laptops to Windows 10 and now only the desktop will run Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. The laptops come up with an error message "Failed platform function StartPage" when Adobe PDF is selected in the printer options. I tried the "Microsoft Print to PDF" and it prints O.K.. I don't care for the format provided by Microsoft and would prefer the Adobe PDF format. Researching the Adobe site it indicates that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is compatible with Windows 10 so I'm not sure what's going on. It also appears the Adobe does not provide technical support on this version of Acrobat. Before I remove and reinstall the software, is there anybody that has a better solution to try.
Everything is working O.K.. Unchecked “run in windows 7” and it worked.

Hi brianm36578615 ,
Could you please tell if you are trying to print from Acrobat itself or from a Web Browser?
Try to perform the below steps:
1- Open Acrobat Pro XI in compatibility mode , locate Acrobat XI shortcut>right click>Properties>Compatibility>Compatibility mode>check the box Run this program in compatibility mode for>select Windows 7 from the list>Apply.
2- If step 1 doesn't work , check if there is any update available for Acrobat, Open Acrobat>navigate to Help>Check for updates
3- If step 2 doesn't work , try to repair Acrobat, Help>Repair Acrobat Installation.
I would like to mention that Acrobat XI is compatible with Windows10 ,
Let us know about the results.

I'm having a similar issue. My error is Failed to Print. I looked at my compatibility and the box was unchecked so I checked it for Windows 7. No luck. I am trying to print from browsers.

Hi tjdewein ,
Could you please tell which Web Browser are you using to print- Google Chrome/MS Edge/Internet Explorer?
What Operating System do you have- Windows 10/8/7?
Try to print to Adobe PDF with different Web Browser and check if you are able to do so.
Also is this happening on a specific Website or with other Websites as well?
