I have had Adobe Acrobat XI Pro since 2014. Recently I am only able to have one PDF open at time. If I go to open another one it crashes. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
Hi nellie1234
Please try to remove Adobe Acrobat XI Pro using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then restart your system.
Then re-install application from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X
Let us know how it goes after that.

Hi nellie1234
Please try "Repair Installation" under Help menu.
Let us know the dot version of Adobe Acrobat X pro you are using and OS installed on your system.
Is this happen when you open some particular PDF?

Hi nellie1234
Yes, you will need the serial number if it is a licensed version and if you have Acrobat subscription then nothing is required.
It will be the same process as when you first install the Acrobat application on your system.
Let us know if you experience any issue.

Meenakshi
