Adobe Acrobat XI Pro - Mac OS Sierra - scanned PDFs disappear in Mac Mail

New Here ,

Recently upgraded my Mac OS to Sierra and suddenly scans from network scanner which were being received fine with previous OS are not showing up in Mac Mail program.  Using Sharp MX-2640 N PPD networked printer and scanner...  Any suggestions for changing the settings in Adobe, or Mac OS or Mac Mail?

Before Sierra = works properly

After Sierra = not working

How about rolling your Mac back to an operating system that works?

Thanks for the suggestion, but it seems to work intermittently?  It seems hard resets of devices allows temporary usage and other users on other operating systems see the scanned attachment.  I am wondering if the New OS has enhance security protocol that can be overridden?  Thoughts?

I am now convinced it is a conflict between Mac Mail and Mac OS Sierra because I can scan from the Sharp Machine and send it the document to my email account.  I can see the attachment on my iPhone 7 and my iPad, both running iOS 10.0.2 and I can access the PDF attachment and then use AirDrop to move it to my MacBook Pro running Mac OS Sierra.  So this is a good wrk around but just involves a lot more steps.

When I look at the email I sent myself (the email where I can see the attachment on my iPhone and iPad) the attachment is not visible nor accessible.

So apparently this must be some "glitch" in the s/w upgrade and a conflict in showing attachments.
