I am trying to update Adobe Acrobat XI Standard to 11.0.16. It is currently at 11.0.15. I'm checking from within the application using the check for updates program. It continues through the whole process and at the very end, it starts the "patching files process" and then rolls the whole thing back. I then get an error during that says "Fatal error during installation" error 1603.
I tried to manually download the update from the adobe site below. It fails as well but it doesn't give me any error.
Adobe - Acrobat : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat 11.0.16 Pro and Standard update - All languages
Anything I can try to fix the issue and get the update to run?

Please perform the below steps:
1- Reboot the Computer and reinstall updates
2 - If step 1 doesn't work , try to remove Acrobat from Cleaner tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then reinstall Acrobat XI from here : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X
3- If step 2 doesn't work ,please perform the steps which are given in this link :Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during Adobe Creative Suite installation.
