I have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard which was purchased on line from Adobe, and have been using it for over three years.
Last week my computer was updated to "Windows 10" and my Adobe product stopped working correctly.
our IT guy said to try and delete the product and reinstall it.
I did that and realized that after deleting the file, I should have deactivated it instead.
Now I cannot reinstall the product because Adobe will not recognize my Serial Number for the product.
Any suggestions on how to reinstall this product??

your failure to deactivate is irrelevant unless you see an excess activation count error.
all adobe serial numbers consist of 6 groups of 4 numbers. make sure you're using the correct number, Find your serial number
next, you need to use the correct installation file. eg, using acrobat xi pro installation file will not work with a std serial number, Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite
