adobe does not use excel

New Here ,
Jun 30, 2016 Jun 30, 2016

I tried to create a form using an excel spreadsheet in Acrobat XI, but an error message stated there were missing files and Acrobat needs to be repaired.

After going through the automatic repair sequence it still will not work. However, it will allow me to create a form using a word document?

I have reinstalled Acrobat, but that did not work either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

What version of Acrobat? What version of Office? What OS?

You might want to consider your choice for authoring your form. Excel is a very poor form creator. When I had to create a form from an Excel file there was a lot of or work resizing and realigning form fields which shifted and resized from the Excel source to the PDF form.
