Adobe Pro DC freezes even after re-installed

I purchased Adobe Pro DC from Best Buy last week to install into new work Lenevo notebook Windows 10.  It worked fine day 1 and then when I attempted to update a file I created last week, I was unable to load file.  After many frustrating hours of attempting to modifiy, uninstall and reinstall, I was able to successfully use Adobe Cleaner to reinstall late last night only to find out this morning that I seem to have missing files and when I attempt to use in any way it freezes.  This is a $500 software package and I don't expect such an expensive program to be so glitch...I used Adobe over other programs because of past experience but if I can't resolve this soon, then I may have to drop Adobe and tell everyone I now to use a different software for creating files...

Hi nancyl271962,

Please try running this cleaner tool from this link : Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart your computer and reinstall acrobat DC from this link : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know if this helps.

Regards

After using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool to uninstall and reinstall several times, I encountered a new problem...the install halted and said me serial # was invalid even after I cut/paste serial from my Adobe account. The only way to bypass this was to use Acrobat Cleaner again, create a new Admin account and install from this account. Unfortunately Acrobat Pro DC still continues to freeze and reboot sometimes helps but not always.
