The message I receive says it attempted to read or write protected memory.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi sallyj8446568 ,

Please provide the OS version installed on your system.

Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software:- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Please check after disabling the protected mode :- Acrobat > Edit > Preferences > Security (enhanced)> uncheck the option for 'Enable Enhanced Security'

Also please check after deleting files from 'temp' folder on your machine, (For Win OS :- C: >  Users > Username > Appdata > Local > Temp)

For MAC OS :- (/Private/temp)

Also try to send the files through browser & check for the same  .

Regards,

Yatharth
