Using Acrobat Pro, run an Action on that folder. The Action itself doesn't need to do anything, you can add a blank "Execute JavaScript" command to it, for example.

Ok, let's start with the first bit. This is where many people get stuck. It says "Using Acrobat Pro...". You need to realise that Acrobat Pro is a product you buy or subscribe to (maybe $20 a month but don't quote me). There's also something called Acrobat Reader, which you might already have, which is free. Having Acrobat Reader won't help you.
