I want the user to be able to save the file as a jpg from Acrobat reader and my understanding is that adding a java script to a form button in acrobat is the only way to accomplish this.

So what am I supposed to do. My client wants a file they can interactively update then save as a jpg so they can post it on social media. They don't have access or the knowledge of how to use our programs just Acrobat Reader.

Why is it Adobe's fault that you didn't do the proper research before taking this job? Also, if they can afford paying you then they can probably afford Acrobat. The Standard version is like $15 a month...

try67 They didn't pay me a lot I am mostly donating my time.

I did do research and cam across several mentions of using javascript to save as a jpg so I thought it was doable. I am just aggravated not your fault or Adobe's.

No my clients use PC as do I.

We all had this problem at least once when we started: we must always pay close attention to the differences in functionality between Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro.
