Hi All.

I receive the above error and the PDF fails. I am also unable to find Cambria in the document.

When the PDF fails it gives me a text document with the below text. Anyone have any ideas.

It means that the error was on page 14. (Not 15, as the message is put out at the start of the page).

It should be able to find Courier, so something is wrong with the setup, I think. HOWEVER, the need to find Courier, the last resort substitute, happens because it can't find Cambria. And it won't be making this up, page 14, one way or another, refers to Cambria.

Things to try.

* Copy the Word document and delete page 14, try again. Works?

* Any graphics (no matter how small) on page 14. Try without

Hi Test Screen Name.

Sorry, I should have mentioned. I have tried running on Windows 8 with Acrobat 10 and Windows 10 with Acrobat 9.

Thanks,

Hi ,

Also let us know when do you experience this error?

Please explain the workflow.

How are you accessing the PDF?

Try downloading the font from the web .

Hi Sukritd.

This is when I am creating a PDF.

Cambria is already installed on the PCs.

The process I am currently using is that from MS Word I print the document using the Adobe PDF Printer and while it is saving this error arises.

I guess one thing I would like to know is what does the whole output of above mean. Does this mean that it failed on page 15 or pages 1 - 14.

Thanks,

Hi ,

This could be due to incompatibility of Acrobat 9 with Windows 10 and Acrobat 10 with Windows 8 as you have specified above.

Possibly but it has worked for thousands of PDFs previously.

Anyway, A big component of what I want to know is how to read the error message that Acrobat has produced.

One of the reasons being that the I couldn't find anything in the word document with Cambria as a font so I am lost as to why it needs to use it. I was hoping the Adobe error would help identify the page it was on and it might from what I can see.

From what I can see is that it produces the code %%[Page: x]%% for the first 14 pages of the document but not the last 11. Does this mean that Acrobat was able to work through the first 14 pages without error, ran into the an error on the 15th and gave up or is it that the error exists on the first 14 pages.

Thanks,
