I'm still looking at a work around to my question from the other day. I think I have come up with various field scripts, validations and equations, but I'm down to one last hiccup.
I have a simplified field notation in field3: field1*field2*.01+field1.
The equation works perfectly except that I'd like the user to have the ability to not enter anything in field2 leaving them the option to input field1 and field3, exclusive of the equation. I would also need field3 to remain blank/0 value until either the equation is complete or the user enters a number.
Is this possible? Is there a way to "override" a calculation?
