Can not activate Adobe Professional 8.1

New Here ,
Sep 28, 2016 Sep 28, 2016

Good afternoon,

I am unable to activate adobe professional version 8.1 with the serial number. It states that it is unable to activate. I am sure that this key is genuine. I understand that this version of adobe is rather old, however I would like to be able to install it. Please let me know what my options are.

Thank you and have a great day.

What OS are you running it on? Acrobat 8 is very old and not compatible with any current OS, which might explain the issues you're having with it.

My client is running windows 8.1. I have another client who is using the same version on the same operating system. It runs fine on its 30 day trial. I am having the same issues as this thread Unable to Activate Acrobat 8 Standard

This may be a silly question, but if I have another client that is running adobe 8 on windows 8.1 and it works fine. Shouldn't it work fine on this particular computer? Also, on the 30 day trial, it works fine, I just cant activate it.

"Not compatible" doesn't mean it won't work. It means it's not tested nor supported, so all kinds of strange problems might occur, like the activation function not working for no apparent reason...
