Can't Get Cloud Tool Defaults To Be Saved - Acrobat 9

Hi all.

I am having a problem with the cloud tool. This has never happened to me in the past, it started today.

The default line type for the cloud tool is the ugly bubbly line. I always change it to the straight line and save those properties as default. This has always worked but today it will save other changes to the properties, line thickness and color, but the line type does not get saved. Each new cloud I draw is always with the ugly bubbly line.

I do not have this problem with the other tools, I can change and set to default all aspects of them, line type, thickness, color etc.

Is there a fix to this? I have tried restarting computer and acrobat, and have tried this on multiple documents.

Please try "Repair installation" under Help menu if you are on Windows.

Could you please share the screenshot of the cloud that have the bubbly line.

What is the OS version installed on your system?

Would also like to inform you that Acrobat 9 is an old and unsupported version.End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)
