I'm trying to create a PDF template as a form, but would like text already entered into the text field, so the person updating the form will know how it should look. Then they can just click and update the existing text. Is this possible?

Also.. one other issue I'm having is when exporting out of InDesign as an Interactive PDF, the fonts and alignments are disregarded and converting back to Times New Roman and left aligned.

You can't set the field text in InDesign, if that's what you're asking. And InDesign doesn't allow you to set all of the properties that you can in Acrobat, so you usually need to do a good amount of work in Acrobat, but it can be automated fairly easily using JavaScript. Prepopulating the fields can also be done in Acrobat by simply importing a data file.

I've found a really helpful tool in FormMagic... saves a ton of post-work in Acrobat. Thanks for your info!
