Cannot open PDF on Acrobat 9 Pro

My boss is using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro v9.5.5 and gets the error message "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person that created the document to correct the problem."  These documents can be read on every other computer in the office.  Is there a way that I can save from my Adobe Acrobat Standard DC that the boss will be able to read the file.

Could you please let us know the OS on which Adobe Acrobat 9 is installed.

Try to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on the system and check if you still experience the issue in opening the PDF.

Would like to inform you that Adobe Acrobat 9 is an old and unsupported version.
