Cannot Print to Adobe PDF since upgrading to WIN10

I have adobe XI standard version. It goes through all the motions of asking for the file name etc. Then when I go to open or retrieve it, it simply isn't there. Microsoft to PDF works fine, but it a pain to use.

Hi taxfighter,

What is the exact dot version of Acrobat XI an application you are using to print to PDF?

Please also sahre the exact workflow you do to print to PDF

Try "Repair Installation" under Help menu.Check if that helps.

Tried repair installation and tried to print to ADOBE PDF from WORD. Still asks for file name, everything as normal, except that there is no file there.

Hi taxfighter,

Please try to uninstall the Adobe application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and restart your system.

Then try to install it from here: Download Adobe Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Are your print drivers up to date?

Make sure your printer drivers from the vendor are using PS and not some other format or control language.

Chrome has its own PDF viewer and is beyond the control of Adobe.

Have you checked the error logs for your printers?
