Cannot scan in color Acrobat XI or DC with Kyocera M6530cdn

Hi,

We have a Kyocera Ecosys M6530cdn MFP.

Two Windows 7 laptops - 1 with Acrobat Pro XI, 1 with Acrobat Pro DC.

When creating a PDF from scanner, no matter what settings I choose, the result is always black and white and very grainy/pixelated. I've had success with other printers and versions of Acrobat and the setups have been seamless.

If I go into custom scan, and then the options of the scanner where you can select native or memory mode, and uncheck the box "hide native interface", I can force the Kyocera Twain interface to pop up, but then that adds several steps to be able to scan in color. We have several setups using the Adobe Acrobat interface to scan in color that are successful.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Hi Willie2016

Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates ".

Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Would request you to check after connecting this scanner locally to the system if its connected over network & then check for the same.

Please refer to this article :- Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat

If issue still persist would request you to please check with different user account.

Regards,

Yatharth
