cannot select fieldname

I created a testform with 2 fields to enter an 4 fields with results like sum, product etc.

All fields are numeric.

When I try to select in properties/calculation/Value is sum  some fields i cannot select the fields because a click on fieldname or checkbox delivers no result.

It is possible to enter the formula below in userscript or the box in the middle

but when i test the form there no result to be seen.

This occurs to me on two different Acrobat 11 Installations on both my two laptops

Try clicking around the area of the check boxes. Some people have success with this. An alternative is to use the tab and arrow keys to move among the fields in the list and use the spacebar to select/deselect fields.

When you tried the simplified field notation option, what did you enter exactly? It should work, but may not if your field names have spaces or certain punctuation characters. But you can work around this apparent limitation by escaping each such characters with a backslash.

You can't attach files when responding by email and have them show up in the forum. You can post it somewhere like your Adobe cloud account and share the link here. But this almost certainly is not a problem with the file, but rather Acrobat's UI in combination with your particular setup. This is a commonly reported problem that affects a minority of users.

Thats what I thought before, but iI have this problem on TWO laptops,

the "old"one I have since Three years with WIN 7, the "new" one I bought

last week with WIN10 ... Why should Acrobat XI behave the same wrong way

on both?

"This is a commonly reported problem that affects a minority of users."

has there been any solution for them?
