why does my pc want to open photoshop with the cloud when I have the entire suite program installed in my pc?

you have ps cc and some pre-cc version installed and you want to use the pre-cc version to open image files?

no...i have creative suite 6 and thought my cc was disabled after i graduated from the art institute. I did have a trial of cc recently that has expired. I posted here because I could not speak to anyone on the phone 1 on 1 and figured that someone would answer....and guess what? You did, I appreciate that.

since the trial expired, When I chose a image and I go to "open with" all my apps from my entire suite of cs6 extended are in CC, and then of course Adobe want money...imagin dat

uninstall everything cc on you computer including the cc desktop app.

uninstall your cs6 programs.

clean both per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

restart your computer

reinstall your cs6 programs.
