Change File Size when Splitting an Adobe Document

New Here ,
Apr 25, 2016 Apr 25, 2016

I want to change the "file size" of a very large Adobe document, but Adobe X only allows up to 10 MB. How can I change the file size up to 50 MB when splitting a document?

Hi there -

The short answer is that you can't do it using the Split command. What you need to do is use the Extract pages command under the Page Thumbnails' panel's menu to break down the document into smaller segments. You do that manually rather than based on the splitting features using either a size or number of pages.

Hi,

Adobe X is no longer supported.

Issue you reported about min cap of 10MB when splitting files has been increased to 50MB for latest Acrobat DC version.

Please give it a try Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC

Thanks
