Changing default Adobe PDF Save As Preset

New Here ,
Mar 09, 2016 Mar 09, 2016

I'm am trying to change my 'Save As' Adobe PDF Preset away from "Illustrator Default" (which is what every new PDF file defaults to for me). I have a custom preset made that I would like to use as my default, but I do not know how to make my custom preset the default for every new file. Does anyone know?

Rajashree,

Thank you for the links. The third link "Illustratro CC how to setup...." was helpful for when I am starting a new document.

I do have, however, a large number of templates that I use to create new PDF documents. Adobe Illustrator automatically sets to 'Illustrator Default' when I attempt to "save as" save the new files as new PDFs. Unfortunately, "Illustrator Default" sets to a CMYK color signature. I have created a preset that saves to an RGB color signature, but I do not know how to set my custom preset as the default for when I "Save As" save the new file.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Chris
