changing font on Acrobat Pro

Hello,

I have Acrobat Pro and tried using the support and help page to help me change the font so I don't have a (.) everytime I hit the space bar.  I'm editing my own document on a different computer.  I don't see the format button to do that.  Thank you

Hi ,

What Acrobat version do you work on?

Once you highlight the text you want to edit,you would see a tools pane on the right side where you could change the font size and color and make other changes as well.

What OS do you work on?

If you try to edit the PDF and then select the text to be highlighted,do you get a tools pane to change the font style?

I have windows 7 Pro.  I can edit it, but it doesn't give an option to change fonts.  and if i hit space bar, it leaves a (.) without a space.
