Check Two Checkboxes Before Form Submission

Hello,

I'm a newbie to javascript and I have a fillable pdf form with two checkboxes that will be contained in our document management software. I need to check to make sure one of the check boxes is checked and if not display a message box indicating one of the check boxes must be checked.

I tried using a radio button and the values displayed correctly inside of our document management software however, the pdf always showed the same radio button checked inside of the document management software.

I've been searching through the adobe forums but have not found a solution.
