Hi All ,
Im looking for a CLI under linux RedHat platform to deal with rearrange PDF documents.
The tools shoud be able handling splitting PDF , merge documents, extract specific range of pages to new document , add or ommit bookmarks .
The CLI must have high performance and the ability to proces huge document ( up to 1.5 GB doc).
So far i have tested few CLI such QPDF , PDFTOCAIRO , PDF-LIB (NODEJS).
Apparently PDFTOCAIRO has high performance but its change the document nature in manner of the stream/objects are written to the new doc doesn't keep the original structure.
PDF-LIB keep the original structure but it loads the whole document to memory.
QPDF performance are not effectinet.
PDFTK is old version and not applicable on our enviroment.
I would like to have more ideas or some linux cli which will meet our requirment.

By the way APDFL is not a CLI, but a C API. But your list includes APIs already.

Hi Oren,
As mentioned, Acrobat is not the tool for the job. There are several PDF libraries out there that could be used for it, though, mostly in Java. I've developed similar tools for my clients in the past so if you're interested in hiring a professional developer to create it for you (for a fee, of course), contact me privately to discuss it further (send me a PM here and we can take it from there).
