I have a HP PC, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and Microsoft Excel 2013 running on Windows 7. I try and combine multiple excel files into a single PDF and it either 1. freezes up, 2. go SUPER slow. 3. when it does go super slow it asks me if I want to save each file as it converts them. I never had a problem with my old version of Microsoft Office. Is there a compatibility issue here or do I need to setup Adobe Acrobat differently?

Yes, there is a compatibility issue. Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Office 2013. Only Acrobat XI (version 11.0.1) or higher is.

I downloaded Acrobat XI as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and tried to combine two Microsoft Excel 2013 documents to PDF and got the same error message from both programs which was "Unable to find "Adobe PDF" resource files. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?" I said yes and it still does not fix the issue. What is going on?
