My project requires PDFs to be compared in bulk mode. Below are the requirements the PDF comparator needs to meet.
- The PDFs will be in 2 different folders with same name, the compare tool must be able to compare an entire batch in one run.
- Compare tool must be able to show the found differences in understandable log files or side by side view with the differences highlighted or by any other means from which a tester is able to understand.
- Compare tool must be able to leave out specific known differences from comparing. For example system date(or current date) will be different in the PDFs and the compare tool should ignore such differences.
We're planning to use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
- Will Acrobat Pro DC satisfiesall the above said requirements?
- If it does not satisfiesall, which all requirements does Acrobat DC satisfies?
- Any other tool available with Adobe or with any other vendor that satisfies the above requirements. Please suggest.
