Hello!
I've created a document in LiveCycle that's presenting a problem I can't fix. I work at a university and the document in question will be sent out to students who need to sign it, date it, and return it to us. It requires information like Student Name, Student ID Number and other identifying information to be entered at the top of the document, then signed at the bottom. As student advisors, we can fill in this information for the student, but we need them to sign.
I've got fillable form fields for the identifying information, and am attempting to utilize the digital signature feature to make our lives easier. I've got the form distributed so we can collect digital submission data as well. However, when I enter a student's information, save the document, then send it out to the student for a signature, the document won't allow the digital signature to be submitted, stating that the signature can't be verified.
I feel like that second time I save the document (after I've added the student's information) is playing havoc with the signature process and is invalidating some security protocol within the document. I've been futzing around for a while both within adobe and online and can't seem to find a solution. Does anyone know a workaround for this that I haven't been able to find? Students are notorious for not completing the document correctly when given the chance, so we like to take that out of their hands whenever possible. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
