Hi, I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro twice and tried to install it on Windows 10 PC three times and each time at the end of the install I get this configuration error:16

Can anyone help me rectify this issue please?

Hi denish25645259 ,

Please try referring this article :  Configuration error in Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Creative Suite

Also try installing Acrobat XI from this link : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know if this helps .

I am running Windows 7 with Acrobat XI Standard. Within the last week, I started getting the Error 16 messages. I searched all the Forums and uninstalled Acrobat XI and then re-installed XI three times, all with the same effect: Error 16 every time I try to start Acrobat XI. I've wasted more than 3 hours attempting to fix this problem and I no longer have use of Acrobat.

None of the posted suggestions or solutions work for me although I don't believe that I'm the only one having this problem.

This problem manifested itself after an update was applied. This is extremely frustrating to say the least.

Please fix this problem and make it available as an update - or at least send out a notice that a real fix is available with a link to the instructions. TIA.
