convert PDF to PPT -losing special effects

Hi

Loving the new convert PDF to PPT, however, when doing so, I lose my dropshadows, screened imagery, etc. Is there a setting I am missing? Is there away to avoid this loss?

Where does the PDF come from?

And be aware that PDF was never supposed to be an intermediate format. Not every transparency model can be transferred to every program. MS Office knows only a very limited alpha transparency model contrary to PDF.
