I have a text document that I want to convert to PDF. When I do,the text alignment in the PDF is off. How can I get the PDF to look exactly like the text document?

What kind of text document? Word, InDesign, ... ?

The text document is a file that can be opened with either Notepad or Wordpad in Windows. When I convert this file using Acrobat it comes out mis-aligned in some places.

What kind of "alignment" are you referring to? Plain-text file do not have any formatting settings, just plain text.

In the PDF file the words are not formatted like the Text file. Columns are not spaced correctly in some cases,making it hard to read.

Open the file in Wordpad, use a monospaced font for the text, and print to "Adobe PDF".

Not sure what you mean by "monospaced font". From the font selection menu which font is that?
