convert webpage to pdf problem

May 13, 2016 May 13, 2016

Greetings: I save some webpages via PDF files. I go Firefox Add-on "Convert Web Page to Adobe PDF" and then it pops up the PDF of the page.  Some webpages do not save in a visually pleasing way, is this a converting problem? Or simply the way some sites are coded? Bloomberg.com homepage for example gets scrambled. 11.0.16

Hi jonathan%20rl87816881 ,

Please try to refer this link : Missing or Garbled Text Printing from IE9 to Adobe PDF Printer, Acrobat  and let us know if this helps.

Also could you let me know the OS version and the exact version of adobe application you are using ?

Regards

Sarojini

Windows 7 Pro

Firefox 46.0.1

Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.16

Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 2.0

Unclicking the rely on system fonts seemed to help but the webpage does not look friendly.

CDC and CNN look pretty user friendly. Must be HTML related 'translation' into PDF that jumbles the padding. The Bloomberg website source code does seem to use single long lines to save file size.  Maybe the PDF times out or cuts off the HTML after so many characters within a single line.
