Converting a slideshow to video?

Is it possible to convert an Adobe slideshow presentation into a standard video format so that it can be run as a DVD on a standard DVD player?  If so I should be very grateful for advice on how this is done.

I am not aware of any automated tool to do that. The way I would approach this is to either create a screen capture movie and then burn that on DVD, or to convert the PDF file to individual image files and then import them into an application that can convert images into video files (Adobe AfterEffects or a photo slideshow application).

Save the PDF document as JPEG files. On the TV you can view the JPEG files as a slideshow.
