Copying multiple form fields

Engaged ,
May 24, 2016 May 24, 2016

In the image below, I want copy the multiple radio buttons whose NAME is set to EOATS to an identical set below with a new name. I can select them all, and then drag copy them, but they have the same name as the previous row, and I have to individually click every box to set a new name. This seems very inefficient, is there a better way to rename multiple fields? Thanks!

I find myself doing a very similar job today, and I'm still having this issue. I'd be grateful for any any tips or techniques that people have discovered to help speed this up.

Something like this, perhaps? Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Generate Radio Button Groups

This certainly helps a lot, and until such a time as I can find an easier (maybe free) way of doing this I'm marking this correct answer (as the alternative is simply to lose your will to live!

Anyway, thanks for the work you've put into this. Frankly, I can't believe that Acrobat can't handle this situation better itself!

You can use "Create Multiple Copies...".

Making the copies is the easy bit (with lasso > drag+shift > distribute), it's changing the radio button "general > name" and "options > radio button choice" for each and every one that is killing me
