Hello,

I work in compliance and often need to interview households with multiple adults. Data such as Name and DOB must be written multiple times on a multipage package that we use at work. I would like to create a PDF document that automatically completes the package with information/data completed on the first page. I'm not sure which adobe product I would need or how to accomplish my goal. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

You need Acrobat to be able to do it. Reader can't edit PDF files, just display them (and allow some basic functionalities like filling in form fields and adding comments).

If this "package" is a single PDF file then all you need to do is copy and paste those fields and they'll automatically have the same value.

If they are separate files then you need to make sure those fields all have the same name across all files and then you'll be able to export the form data from one file to an FDF or even a text file, and import it in the others.

Thanks for the reply! Although what you wrote seems simple enough, I should have mentioned that  I’m very new to working with PDF files in this manner. I’m unsure exactly how to go about it. Also, the fileds of my pdf file are not set up to receive input at the moment. We normally just print the package and complete what is needed by hand. Lastly, will adobe reader be sufficient to accomplish my goal or do I need another application.
