For the first issue (supporting units other than inches), the bug has been prioritized and most probably it will be fixed in upcoming releases.

For the issue where it was inputting the measurements in incorrect order, please install latest update released on 11/10/2016. This issue is already fixed.

Thanks.

Can you please share the Acrobat version you are using.

If it's Acrobat 11 or Acrobat Classic, yes you can do this.

1. Go to Edit> Preferences> Units & Guides

2. update Page & Ruler units to available options like cm or mm

3. Now on custom scan setting page you can enter values accordingly.

Bit If you are using Acrobat DC you can only select values in inches on custom scan setting page.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is not the answer. Changing the overall settings for measurement doesn't change the measurement standards for custom page sizes in Acrobat DC. It is a major omission to assume that the world only uses imperial measurements and only allows for this when creating custom size scans. It means that for every time I have such a job I have to convert my measurements from metric to imperial. Far from ideal and must be the same for everyone else working in a metric world (apart from the USA and ludites elsewhere).

Needs fixing fast as it was available on the earlier versions.

It's been a long time and for something so important I am surprised there has been no movement on this issue. I also posted the same question again plus identifying a bug in inputting the measurements which has to be done left to right which is thoroughly counterintuitive.

This needs to be fixed!
