Create PDF crashes Microsoft Word

New Here ,
Feb 23, 2016 Feb 23, 2016

Hi. I am using Acrobat Pro DC (Version 15.006.30119). I am trying to either "Save as Adobe PDF" or "Convert to PDF" in Microsoft Word (Office 365 Version 16.0.6568.2025) running on fully updated Windows 7 Professional.

Every time Word crashes just after starting the conversion process. Word then restarts and indicates that Word is having a problem with the pdf plugin. This only started happening after the latest Office 365 update (yesterday).

Help please!

Hi

Acrobat PDFMaker is crashing with Office 2016 and Office 365 on Windows after Office 2016's February update. We have investigated it and are working with Microsoft to get it resolved as soon as possible.

Thanks

Tanvi

Hi

Problem is due to a bug in the February update to Office 2016 / Office 365.

Microsoft fixed that bug and March 4, 2016 update which fixes the crashes. Please update your Office.

Thanks

Tanvi
