Create PDF Forms that Can be Edited and Combined

Dear all,

I was trying to get the information needed via the search and google but did not find a satisfying answer.

Is it possible to use Acrobat to create various PDF Forms that can be edited and later chosen to be combined? I`m looking for a tool to create personalized (client-specific) investment proposals.

Specifically the following would be needed:

  • have sort of a database/folder with individual "slides" for a presentation (i.e. a title slide, a summary slide, a "personal Details" slide, an "asset allocation" slide etc.)
  • these slides/forms would have fields that can be edited and filled and optimally where the content is specified (e.g. the field "Name" would only allow alphabetic letters and would have to start with a capital letter)
  • some slides would also allow tables (from Excel?) that can be enlarged or shrinked and where, depending on the fillable content, the total is calculated (e.g. buy 100k Apple stock and 50k Microsoft would be entered and 150k total investment sum would be automatically calculated by Acrobat/Excel
  • after the slides/forms have been filled and edited, the individual forms would be merged and a presentation is created. Optimally, one can choose X out of Y specific documents to combine depending on preferences (e.g. integrate slide "Market Analysis" into investment proposal or leave it out)

My question is, does Acrobat allow me to do all this? Many, many thanks for your help, much appreciated.

All the best,

Michael
