I am looking for a way to create a creating a pdf doc with form fields that auto resize the type entered in field without scrolling. I used to be able to do this and cannot seem to figure out. All I see in the properties field is multiple line and scrolling options, but no where can I find an option that auto adjusts the width of entered text to fit within the cell.

I'm having the same issue. I have my font size set to 'auto' but it is not resizing the font. I'll be anxious to see if you get any insight as my post has not had any response.

You need to make sure that the "Allow rich text formatting" option under Properties - Options is disabled.
