Creating/Merging PDF error when Skype for Business 2016 installed

I am receiving the following error when trying to create/merge pdfs.

No pdf was created because Acrobat encountered an unidentified error.

These features were working fine before I installed Skype for Business 2016.

I am on windows 7 enterprise SP1 and office professionall plus 2010 version 14.0.7162.5000 (32 bit).

Is there a compatibility issue?

There is no compatibility issue & you may refer to this link for compatible programs with Acrobat Pro :- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html

The files you are trying to create/merge are over network or on local network. If they are on network Acrobat has problems with storage to network drives at times. The simple solution is almost always to work on local files.If they are on Local network, try with these steps :- 


** Remove Temp files (Press 'Win+R' then from run window open "%temp%" folder, remove all the files from this folder)

** Check whether Acrobat Pro is up to date, if not then through "Help > check for updates" install the updates.

**.Restore preferences :-

1.Choose Start, type reg edit in the Start Search,and then press Enter.

2.In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe

3.Remove the Acrobat preferences registry entries.

** After that please repair the software by opening Acrobat, navigate to Help menu & repair the installation.

Please check with these steps & see if you are facing the same issue .
