Creating PDF: First and Last Page is Single View, Middle Pages are Two Up?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to create a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro that looks similar to a book as follows:

  • The first page would be in Single View (i.e. The front cover of the book)
  • The middle pages are Two Up View (i.e.The internal pages of the book)
  • The last page would be in Single View (i.e. The back cover of the book)

I can get all of the PDF to save in the Two Up View (Ctrl+D > Page Layout > Two Up) but cannot change the first and last pages to be just single view.

I've seen this done before, but cannot work it out.  I do not have access to Adobe InDesign so hopeful of finding a solution in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Gareth

You can do it with the first page, but not the last. However, if the file has the correct amount of pages (ie, an even amount) I think it will happen automatically. To do that simply select the Two Up (Cover Page) option.

Under File > Properties, under the Initial View tab, select Two-Up (Cover Page) under the Page Layout dropdown.
