DC Acrobat won't install, keeps saying a previous version needs removing. Have uninstalled the previous version?!

New to Creative Cloud. DC Acrobat won't install, keeps saying I need to uninstall previous acrobat. Was on Creative Suite previously and used the uninstall facility, then deleted those files. I can't locate any other hidden files, so am now at a loss and without any acrobat reader at all.

Hi Tracey at Sable

You can uninstall Creative Cloud using cleaner tool : Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Then reinstall it from this link : Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps

Let me know if you experience any issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding to your advice. It's not actually CC I have the problem with. It's removing an older version of Acrobat from when I was on Creative Suite, not sure if it came with this or it was a stand alone Acrobat version. All instances of acrobat need to be removed before DC will load, but I have uninstalled Acrobat but it's still saying it's on my system.
